Terms & Conditions
Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking Mothers Space. By booking a place, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following.
BOOKING & PAYMENT
Mothers Space is a six-week mother and baby series, with six weekly 60-minute sessions.
The full series costs £85 and payment is made in full when booking.
Your booking reserves your place for all six sessions. Places are limited to keep the group small and welcoming.
Mothers Space is intended to be attended as a complete six-week series rather than as individual drop-in sessions.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Mothers Space is booked as a six-week series, with your place reserved for all six sessions.
If you need to cancel your place, please get in touch as soon as possible.
More than 72 hours before the first session
You can cancel your place and receive a full refund.
Within 72 hours of the first session
Your booking is non-refundable unless we are able to fill your place from the waiting list. If we are able to fill your place, we will refund you in full.
Once the series has started
Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are unable to offer refunds or reductions for individual sessions missed.
These terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
ATTENDANCE
Please arrive in good time for your session so that you can settle yourself and your baby before we begin.
If you or your baby are unwell or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, please stay home and do not attend the session.
If your baby needs your attention during the session, you're welcome to pause, feed, cuddle, settle them or step outside for a moment.
ATTENDING WITH YOUR BABY
Babies are very welcome throughout Mothers Space. Feeds, naps, cuddles, wriggles and crying are all part of the experience.
If your baby needs your attention during the session, you're welcome to pause, feed, cuddle, settle them or step outside for a moment. There is no expectation that your baby will remain settled throughout the class.
Mothers Space is not childcare. You remain responsible for your baby throughout the session, including during movement and while using any equipment or props.
Please ensure that your baby is kept safe and within your care throughout the session.
YOGA, MOVEMENT & YOUR WELLBEING
Mothers Space includes gentle yoga, movement, breathwork and relaxation designed for mothers in the early season of motherhood.
Everyone's pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience is different. It is your responsibility to listen to your body and participate only in movements, exercises and breathwork that feel appropriate and comfortable for you.
You are welcome to rest, modify or skip any movement at any point during a session.
If you have any concerns about whether yoga, movement or breathwork is suitable for you following pregnancy or birth, please seek advice from your GP, midwife, physiotherapist or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional before attending.
Mothers Space is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Please let me know before the session if there is anything relevant to your participation that you would like me to be aware of. You do not need to share anything you are not comfortable sharing.
POSTNATAL RECOVERY
Mothers Space is designed to support mothers in the early season of motherhood, but it is not a postnatal rehabilitation programme.
If you are recovering from a caesarean birth, significant tearing, complications or any other condition that may affect your ability to participate, please seek appropriate medical or professional advice before attending.
Please honour your own recovery and take things at your own pace during the sessions.
JOURNALLING & REFLECTION
Journalling is offered as an opportunity for personal reflection and exploration.
There is no expectation to write about anything specific or to share what you write with the group.
You are welcome to participate in as much or as little journalling as feels right for you.
SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITY
You are responsible for your own wellbeing and for making appropriate decisions about your participation during each session.
Please let me know if something doesn't feel right, and stop or modify an activity whenever you need to.
You are also responsible for the safety and wellbeing of your baby throughout the session.
Every reasonable care will be taken to provide a safe environment, but participation in physical activity carries some inherent risk. By attending Mothers Space, you acknowledge that you are choosing to participate in movement and other activities at your own discretion.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
ATTENDANCE
Please arrive in good time for your session so that you can settle yourself and your baby before we begin.
If you arrive late, please enter quietly and settle in when you can.
If you or your baby are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, please stay at home.
IF YOU MISS A SESSION
If you cannot attend one of the six sessions, please let me know where possible.
Unfortunately, missed sessions cannot be refunded, transferred to another person or carried over to a future Mothers Space series.
IF A SESSION NEEDS TO BE CANCELLED
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a session, I will make every reasonable effort to offer an alternative date.
If an alternative session cannot be arranged, you will receive a refund for the cancelled session.
If the venue or other circumstances outside of my reasonable control mean that a session cannot take place as planned, I will communicate with you as soon as possible and explain the available options.
RESPECTING THE SPACE
Mothers Space is intended to be a warm, inclusive and respectful space for everyone.
Please respect the privacy, experiences and boundaries of the other mothers attending.
What someone chooses to share within the group should be treated with care and kept private.
There is never an expectation to share personal experiences, participate in discussion or disclose anything you would prefer to keep private.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
I will never photograph or film you or your baby for promotional purposes without your permission.
If photographs or videos are taken during a session, I will ask for your consent before using any image or footage in which you or your baby can be identified.
CONTENT & MATERIALS
The Mothers Space journal, prompts, written materials and other content provided as part of the series are for your personal use.
Please do not reproduce, distribute, sell or share these materials without permission.
CHANGES TO THE PROGRAMME
I may occasionally need to make small changes to the content, timings or arrangements of a session.
If there are any significant changes to the series, I will let you know as soon as possible.
